We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Coach to lead our coaching team, deliver high-quality instruction, and shape the overall player experience at our facility.
Position Overview
The Head Coach plays a central role in delivering engaging pickleball programs, providing hands-on instruction, and mentoring assistant coaches. This role combines on-court coaching with off-court leadership, ensuring that programs are structured, accessible, and designed to help players of all skill levels succeed.
Responsibilities
- Lead group and individual lessons for beginner through advanced players.
- Design and implement structured training programs, clinics, and camps.
- Mentor, manage, and provide feedback to the locations’ coaches.
- Promote a fun, inclusive, and competitive environment for all participants.
- Collaborate with the Director of Pickleball and General Manager to maintain program standards and grow participation.
- Stay current with pickleball rules, strategies, and player development best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pickleball coach or instructor.
- Ability to coach players across all levels, from beginners to advanced.
- Strong leadership and prior experience mentoring or managing staff.
- Deep knowledge of pickleball rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for growing the game and building community.
