SUPPORT YOUR COMMUNITY AT HOLYOKE MALL

HOLYOKE, MA- Throughout the year, Holyoke Mall is host to numerous community groups who set up at a table in the common area of the shopping center to raise awareness or raise funds for their organization.  This week at Holyoke Mall the list includes, the Western Mass Training Consortium, Mont Marie Rehabilitation, the Girl Scouts of Central & Western Mass and the Longmeadow Knights Cheerleading Team.

Go Red this month with Mont Marie Rehabilitation.  Representatives from Mont Marie will be distributing their free blood pressure screening booklet and information about the services they provide this Thursday, February 27th from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm on the upper level near Target.

Western Mass Training Consortium will also be on site this Thursday, February 27th on the upper level near Target, from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  They will be distributing information about the services they provide and accepting applications for Direct Care Support positions in the Consortium’s Home & Community Connections division.

The Girl Scouts of Central & Western Mass will be selling their famous cookies this weekend and each weekend through March 8th.  They will be located on the upper level near Target starting at 4:00 pm on Friday and during mall hours on Saturday and Sunday.  Cookie sales help to support local troop programming.

On Sunday, March 1st the Longmeadow Knights Cheerleading team will be raising funds to support their trip to a national competition!  They will be located on the upper level near 110 Grill from 11:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Holyoke Mall’s General Manager, Bill Rogalski shared, “Providing space in the shopping center is a great way for non-profit organizations to reach the community with ease, whether they are recruiting new members or raising funds for their cause.”

In addition to supporting our local community, shoppers can also support Trollbeads’ efforts to raise funds for those devastated by the Australian bushfires.  Trollbeads is offering three different style bracelets at a discounted price, with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity based in Australia.  These donations will assist the people, nature and wildlife of the country.  Trollbeads is located on the upper level near AT&T.
