Holyoke Mall Invites Non-Profits to Host Events at the Shopping Center
HOLYOKE, MA- As the largest retail destination in Western Massachusetts, Holyoke Mall is an active member of the community and partners with various local and national non-profit organizations throughout the year to help raise money and bring awareness to their cause.
In 2018, Holyoke Mall partnered with 44 non-profit organizations to host more than 160 events which raised more than $106,000 for the organizations.
“It’s an honor to partner with such dedicated groups throughout the year, stated General Manager, Bill Rogalski. He continued, “We are proud to be part of so many initiatives that help our local community.”
Upcoming events include:
- Veteran Services Information Table: The Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) will be in the shopping center on Friday, June 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the Upper Level near Target to share information about services for veterans offered through the organization. The VVA’s mission is to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans.
- Vet Air Information Table: Vet Air will be tabling on Saturday, June 15th, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Upper Level near Target collecting donations and distributing information about their services which includes providing transportation for veterans in need of medical care.
From small fundraisers to large-scale events, Holyoke Mall works to ensure each event will be successful by providing the event space free of charge as well as promoting it on social media and on the website.
