Tykes Tuesday is back Tuesday mornings from 11:00 AM to noon in Macy’s Court. The fun starts July 11 and runs to August 22.
The kids’ program is free, open to the public, and is best suited for children ages 12 and under. This year’s activities include STEM activities, a magic show, free trampoline park admission, and more!

Wildlife on Wheels provides information about animals, their special adaptations, habitats, behaviors, diets, and status in the wild. Animal visitors may include mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and arthropods.
Ed Popielarczyk’s Magical Moments:
What’s better than a magic show? A comedic magic show! Join Ed Popielarczyk for a show that will leave you amazed and laughing. You don’t want to miss these magical moments.
Sound of Science with Mad Science:
Join Mad Science for fun, hands-on, and educational activities and demonstrations. Mad Science’s mission is to spark the imagination of children and inspire curiosity though interactive and educational activities that demonstrate the importance of science and how it affects the world.
Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory:
Learn about butterflies and other exotic animals with Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory. Magic Wings is an 8000 square-foot tropical conservatory with nearly 4000 free-flying tropical and native butterflies from all over the world! They also have exotic reptiles, frogs, fish, birds & insects to see up close and personal.
Connecticut Science Center:
The Connecticut Science Center is bringing science to you. Get ready to think outside the bubble! Have some good clean fun exploring the captivating, colorful science of soap and water. Uncover the mysteries of bubbles’ shape, see what happens when you make bubbles with different gases, and push the limits of what suds can do. Who knows what we’ll put in a bubble next.
Animal Craze:
Meet, greet, and learn to feed and care for the farm animals of Animal Craze’s Traveling Petting Zoo. The petting zoo features bunnies, lambs, piglets, and more!
Adventures at Altitude Trampoline Park:
Jump into the fun at Tykes Tuesday! Join us for our last Tykes Tuesday of the summer at Altitude Trampoline Park for a FREE hour of high energy entertainment featuring Extreme Dodgeball, basketball, a Ninja course, battlebeam, and more.
All participating families must fill out waiver prior to arrival.
