Summer is just around the corner, and that means our Tykes Tuesday program is back Tuesday mornings from 11:00 AM to noon in Macy’s Court! The fun starts July 8 and runs to August 19.

The kids’ program is free, open to the public, and is best suited for children ages 12 and under. This year’s activities include live animal ambassadors, a magic show, free trampoline park admission, and more!

Plus, new for 2025: families who come to ALL 7 weeks of Tykes Tuesday will be entered to win a Grand Raffle Prize of a Back-to-School gift pack! Just stop by our registration table to get your loyalty punch card stamped every week!

July 8: Forest Park Wildlife on Wheels

Join us for a fun and educational presentation with information about animals, their special adaptations, habitats, behavior, diets, and status in the wild. Animal visitors may include: mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and arthropods.

July 15: Free Jump at Altitude Trampoline Park

Jump into the fun at Altitude Trampoline Park with a FREE hour of jump time! From dodgeball to battle beam, there’s a perfect type of play for everyone.

Up to 100 people. All participating families must fill out waiver prior to arrival. Purchase of socks for $3.50 is required, or bring your own Altitude branded socks from a past visit.

July 22: Celebrate Christmas in July with Mrs. Claus, Face Painting and More

It’s halfway to Christmas and Mrs. Claus will be visiting Holyoke Mall to check if you’ve been naughty or nice! Visit with and hear a story from Mrs. Claus, write a letter to Santa, have your face painted, and enjoy holiday treats!

Face painter will be available from 10:30am-12:30pm

July 29: Ed Popielarczyk’s Magical Moments

Join our favorite magician, Ed Popielarczyk, for a comedy magic show that will leave you amazed and laughing. The kids are the stars because they make the magic happen!

August 5: Meet and Greet with the Holyoke Fire Dept. & Belchertown PD Comfort Dog

Join us for an unforgettable experience with the Holyoke Fire Department. Children will be able to listen to firefighters read an exciting story and explore a real fire engine up close! To add to the fun, Oliver the Belchertown Police Comfort Dog will be joining us as well! This fun and educational event is perfect for kids who want to learn more about our everyday heroes.

August 12: Superhero Training Academy and Face Painting

Heroes Assemble! Calling all web slingers and superhero fans! Some of your favorite friendly neighborhood heroes are coming to the Holyoke Mall looking for new recruits! Come train like a real hero with a kid friendly obstacle course, hero trivia, and make your own mask, ending with a special induction ceremony and photo ops for all of the new little superheroes, courtesy of Something Royal Party Co. Also enjoy free face painting and balloon art by Dazzle Day to complete your superhero look!

Face Painter and Balloon Artist will be available from 10:30am-12:30pm.

August 19: Funtastic Forces with Mad Science

Mad Science’s mission is to spark the imagination of children and inspire curiosity though interactive and educational activities that demonstrate the importance of science and how it affects the world. In this high energy event, children see Newton’s three laws of motion in action with thrilling demonstrations!
